Post Game Notes

The regular season is officially over. The post season starts this week (NFL week 13) with the Wild Card games. Rosters are frozen until after the Championship game. The draft order for 2004 is the week 13 waiver order that you can view at the bottom of the standings web page.

There are four repeat post season teams from last year's playoffs as Snif Htron, Irish Thunder, Carters Crew, and Alberta Colts all return to the post season. The two new teams are Mindmenders and Strange Brew. Irish Thunder host the Mindmenders in the AC Wild Card game and Alberta Colts host Carters Crew in the NC Wild Card game.

Snif Htron wins the 2003 offensive title with the most total offensive points. They had 931 points. A new league record (previously 857).

The Revolutionaries wins the 2003 defensive title with the most total points. They had 522 points, which shatters the previous league record of 283.

American Conference Playoff Team Profiles

Snif Htron is the defending league Champion. This is Snif Htron's 5th post season appearance (1997, 2000-2002) which ties the Naked Bootleggers and VA Rebels for most post season appearances. They have the longest current post season streak at 4 straight post seasons, which is 1 short of the league record (5 straight by the Rebels). Snif's overall post season record is 2-3. The have made 1 trip to the League Championship which they won last year.

Irish Thunder is making their second straight post season appearance. Their overall post season record is 1-1.

Mindmenders is making their third post season appearance. The previous appearances were in 1999 and 2001 (something about the odd years). Their overall record is 1-2.

Strange Brew is making their second post season appearance with the previous appearance in 2001 when they made it to the League Championship. Their overall post season record is 1-1

Alberta Colts makes their 3rd post season appearance and 2nd straight. The previous appearance was in 1994 (the league's first year). Their post season record is 0-2. They are looking for their first post season victory in the wild card game this week.

Carters Crew is the National Conference defending champion. They are making their 4th post season and their second straight (1998, 2000, 2002). Their overall post season record is 2-3. They have made the trip to two League Championship games (1998 and 2002) but are still seeking their first League Championship.
