General Rules
- The league consists of 14 teams that are divided into two 7 team conferences (AFC & NFC).
- The regular season is comprised of 12 games starting on NFL week 1.
- The post season runs for 3 weeks (1-wild card games, 2-conference championship games, 3-league championship game).
- Each franchise has a roster limit of 19 active and 2 injured reserve players during the regular season.
- The league is a keeper league which means that an owner may keep 3 players from thier end of season roster for the next season. The only restriction is that each player must be from a different position (for example, 1 QB, 1 RB and 1 WR).
- Game play is head to head.
Pre-Season Rules
- Owners may trade with one another during the off-season. Players and draft picks may be traded.
- Each team may keep 3 players from the previous season when starting a new season. These players must be from different positions.
- Each season there is a draft with 16 rounds to complete the remainder of the active roster.
- Each team may pick one free agent per day starting two days after the draft day up to two days before the first regular season game. These are awarded on a first come first get basis.
Regular Season Rules
- Each team may have 19 active players on the roster. Additionally, teams can have 2 players on a Taxi Squad.
- Starting lineups are due by kick-off of the first weekly game. Generally, this is 1:00 PM EST on Sunday, but if the NFL has are Saturday games than line-ups are due on Saturday.
- Thursday Games - If you want to start a player from a Thursday game then a full or partial lineup must be submitted by the Thursday game kick-off with the Thursday players.
- Starting line-ups can have at most 13 players : 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs (WRs and TEs), 1 K, 2 DLs, 2 LBs, 2 DBs
- If a starting lineup is not received on time then the previous weeks lineup is automatically used.
- Teams also have 2 IR slots. A active player may be placed on the IR if the real player is on the official NFL IR list.
- Owners may pick up one free agent (FA) each week of the regular season.
- Free agents are awarded in reverse order of the current standings (in other words, the last place team gets first pick).
- Owners may trade players and draft picks throughout the regular season.
- There is no limit on the number of trades between owners.
- All trades are approved by the commish before being final.
- All rosters are frozen for the post season starting at kick-off of the last FFL regular season game.
- The league scoring rules are based on individual player performance.
- The league scoring uses offensive and defensive skilled positions.
- The fantasy football league is managed using commercial fantasy football league software. The software vendor provides weekly statistic files which are used to calculate team scores based on the rules loaded into the software.
- Note that statistical providers, software vendors and the league office can make mistakes. If you believe that your score was calculated incorrectly, please send an email to league offices prior to next weeks kick off. In other words, if you think that your week 3 score is incorrect then you must notify league offices before the week 4 games start.

Post Season Rules
- The top 3 teams from each division makes the play-offs.
- Play-offs will be played over 3 weeks (NFL weeks 14-16) as follows:
- Week 14 -- 2 Wild Card Games between conference teams seeded 2 and 3. The conference winners will have a bye this week
- Week 15 -- 2 Division Championships. The Conference winners will play the winner of the respective wild card game.
- Week 16 -- League Super Bowl between the two conference champions.
- The top three teams will be determined by overall winning percentage.
- In case of tied records, the following tie breakers are used:
- division winning percentage;
- head to head record;
- overall points scored;
- reverse order of overall points scored by opponets;
- if a tie still exists at this point then the winner is determined by a best of three arm wrestling matches (unless one of the teams is the rebels in which case it will be a best of three 440 yd dashes)
